Toronto Police say a 21-year-old woman ordered a ride on Sunday around 3:50 a.m. A man who police say “said he was a ride share driver” picked her up and drove her to a secluded spot in the Caledonia Rd. and Lawrence Ave. W. area. Police allege he sexually assaulted her, stole her cellphone and forced her out of the car.
Suhail Siddiqi, 33, of Ajax, was arrested Monday and charged with sexual assault, robbery and overcome resistance by choking. He appeared in Toronto West courts on Tuesday. Police say he worked for both Uber and Lyft
