Went for a Vietnamese BBQ pork meal

i went to a Vietnamese restaurant, the place are big in size compare with many other Vietnamese, and is always 65-75 % full with customers

i order the shrimp wrapped as side dish, but it is not good, first of all, the skin was too rough, kind of feel like plastic...it have to be thin, smooth ...the shrimp have no shrimp taste at all

Well come the main dish BBPork dinner, the bbpork do taste ok, but if you take a closer look at the way the cook put the food on the plate, you can tell he dont care and have no respect , or love for cooking, the food are all bend to one side not in the middle, and the rice and salad is not nicely arrange..this may done by either a junior trainer assistant cook

mmm..i think i will not go back for i dont like people did not love what they do and did not put in all their effort to make their job good and professional, besides there are tons of Vietnamese restaurant in here are much better why go back to this one..right

I bought a flesh eater plant for my friend,  but i make sure he promiesed me that he wont go catch any insect and feed him purposely, he will let nature take its course...here is the photo of thsi carnivorous plants,,,,,well, cool ,,next time i will buy one for myself too

This photo is taken few years ago when famous south east asia singer Winnie Wei Sau Han promised to sing at a huge successful fund raising event for chairty. She did it for free, very kind and nice of her. Full house and dinner minium Canadian dollars $ 1500 per standard table . Winnie Wei Sau Han had sung three songs both in Mandarin and Cantonese. Off course including her number one hit song and still very popular after half the century.

A simple lunch

i finished my things around 3.45 pm, too late for lunch and too early for dinner. But i am a bit hungry however the weather is very hot so i dont want to have a heavy meal, i spot a restaruant nearby so i see their menus, and photos of their products, look ok so i go int order three little dish, two of them a  Northern Chinesse style cold salad, actually to my surprise, not bad at all, especially the first dish, the second is cold potatoes cut in noodle shape, was ok but lacking the exactly right taste i used to have when i was small in HongKong or when i visited my hometown in Northern China, But is ok i give it 65% mark..then come the beef in a hot roll bread, mmm.....taste is ok, bread i find it a bit too soft, i prefer the more crispy one ....but not bad, i give it a 70% mark....

Simple Lunch

well, many times, when i miss my regular lunch hours, if there is a good Cantonese BBQ pork restaurant nearby, i will go in have a simple lunch,  it come with a simple house soup of the day, nothing fancy, just whatever meats they have avaliable the they make it a vegetable meat soup. This little not fancy places i often go to eat because their bbq pork and suckling pig are good, BBQ so so, so i always order BBQ pork and Suckling Pig only......well, have a nice day, talk with you my bloggers friend later, take care
